The Downtown Squamish Business Improvement Association (DSBIA) has been in existence since 2006 when local Squamish businesses came together as a collective voice for downtown. Surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Sea to Sky, the DSBIA’s catchment area is located between Pemberton Avenue, north and Westminster Street to the south, bookend between Loggers Lane and Second Ave to the east and west. Tourism Squamish is a non-profit community-destination marketing organization (DMO). Tourism Squamish takes the lead in promoting Squamish and coordinating destination marketing efforts. Their role includes developing strategies in the areas of marketing and sales to promote overnight stays in Squamish. The Society is governed by an industry-appointed Board of Directors and represents more than 110 businesses that comprise the local tourism economy.
