Trailblazer Micro-Grants and Circular Economy Innovation Challenge
Accelerating Business Innovation in Squamish
The District of Squamish is excited to announce the 2024 Circular Economy Micro-Grants Program and Innovation Challenge, funded by the Province of BC’s Rural Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Program (REDIP).
With a total funding of $50,000 for Micro-Grants and $60,000 for the Innovation Challenge, these initiatives are designed to support businesses and non-profits in their transition to sustainable circular operations. They stimulate the adoption of circular practices by encouraging innovation and implementing solutions that meet community needs, foster new business development, support business expansion, and create jobs in Squamish.
The Trailblazer Micro-Grants and Innovation Challenge guides provide organizations with detailed information about each program, including potential use case examples and evaluation criteria. They are designed to assist in preparing applications and ensure the grants are used effectively for both environmental, social and economic benefits. The application deadline for both programs is September 27, 2024.
